Virginia Cantu Armijo of Allen, Texas passed away February 28, 2015 at the age of 77. She was born January 7, 1938 to Carlos and Maria (Andrada) Cantu in Sinton, Texas. Virginia worked for Haggard Slacks for many years before her retirement with Fisher Control. After her retirement, she set up booths at area trade markets. In 1986, Virginia married Julio Armijo in McKinney, Texas. She was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church in Allen, Texas.

Virginia is survived by her children, Osvaldo Arroyo and wife Carolyn Kay Arroyo of Howe, Texas, Christina Morales and husband Juan of Culleoka, Texas, David Arroyo and wife Nancy of McKinney, Texas, and Melissa Villarreal and husband Red of Allen, Texas; 17 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and a host of other loving family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Julio Armijo, daughters, Vivian Lopez and Susie Arroyo; brother, Carlos Cantu; and sisters, Velma Martinez and Nydia Casso.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, March 7, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Inurnment is to follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a remembrance gathering at the funeral home Friday evening March 6, 2015 from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. A rosary service will be held at 7:00 p.m.
