Grace Jacqueline Andruss passed peacefully into her Savior's loving arms on November 18, 2009. Grace was born on August 5, 1912, in Britton, Oklahoma, to Frank and Caroline Cantrell. After graduating from Classen High School in 1930, she married the love of her life, Morris E. Andruss, on March 18, 1931. They were married until his death in 1968. Grace was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jewel and Katy; brothers, Grover and Woodrow; and daughter, Marilyn Kay Andruss Agee. Grace is survived by three children, daughter Nancy Washington and husband Bill of Pace, Florida; son Gene Andruss and wife Mary Martha of Burneyville, Oklahoma; and son Michael Andruss and wife Susie of Yukon, Oklahoma. She is also survived by ten grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. Grace was a lovely and gracious woman who lived life to its fullest. She loved her family dearly and took great pride in all of their accomplishments. Grace was a devout Catholic woman who took her faith and commitment to her Lord very seriously. She taught us to trust in God's mercies and remain strong and faithful in spite of life's challenges. Visitation will take place at Smith & Kernke Funeral Home, 14624 North May Avenue, on Friday, November 20, 2009, from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at 11 :00 a.m. at the St. Joachim Chapel of St. Ann, 7501 West Britton Road, in Oklahoma City. Final interment will be next to Morris at Resurrection Memorial Cemetery.
