Cantrell was born May 22, 1909, in the Eastland community, of White County, to Oliver Manning and Eady Roberts Manning.
She was a homemaker.
Cantrell was preceded in death by her husband, James Lum Cantrell.
Survivors include 10 children and their spouses, Stanton and Minnie Cantrell, Carolyn and Curtis Copeland,
Nannie Mae Billings, Fred Cantrell [of Stone Mountain, Georgia], Edd and Hilda Cantrell, Bobby and Janie Cantrell, Hannah Mize, Mattie Helen and Joe Burnette,
Lum Ellen and Harold Mayberry, and Jim Cantrell [of Memphis]; 15 grandchildren; 23 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
Services were held June 16, 2002, at Hunter Funeral Home with burial in Highland Cemetery. Susan Gardner officiated.
