Chatham passed away peacefully at St. John's Hospice with family by her side at 6:09 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 10, 2009.
She was born March 1, 1952, in Springfield, the daughter of Woodrow LaRue and Evelyn Falcetti Leach.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Ronald Leach.
She is survived by a daughter, Caitlin Cantrall of Chatham; two sons, Cody Cantrall of St. Louis and Casey Cantrall of Chatham; a sister,
Cindy Donnell of Georgetown, Texas; a brother, Steve (Debbi) Leach of Springfield; an aunt, Veronica Todd of Auburn; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Debora was a lifelong resident of the Springfield area. She worked for Horace Mann, and then at Blue Cross Blue Shield as a supervisor, retiring in 2008.
She was a member of West Side Christian Church. She loved cross stitching and spending time with her family.
A memorial gathering will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Monday, Dec. 14, 2009, at Staab Funeral Home. Private burial will be held at Auburn Cemetery.
