He resided in New York County, New York prior to the war.

He enlisted in the Army Air Corps on December 3, 1942 in New York City, New York. He was noted, at the time of his enlistment, as being employed in a machine shop and also as Single, without dependents.

Milton was "Killed In Action" when his B-24 was hit on it's left wing by falling bombs from another plane while on a bombing run over Germany during the war.

He was awarded a Purple Heart.
