ARTHUR CANTOR Passed away on September 28, 2003 in Tuscon, AZ. Born in Oakland and raised in Alameda, CA he was the loving son of the late Salvatore Fazio and Marie and the late Harry Cantor. He is survived by his much loved wife Daneal, daughters, Michelle Cantor and Debra Cassani (Wayne) and two adored grandchildren, Madeline and Matthew Cassani. Art is also survived by a sister Nancy Rapp, brother Phillip Cantor, niece Lisa Morse (David), nephew David Stone (Susan) and Minga Cantor. Art attended Alameda High and college in Santa Rosa and Mexico City. He was an Air Force veteran who served in Germany for four years. A retired advertising sales executive; he was a member of IBEW Local 1269, Telephone Company Pioneers and the ACLU. Art loved travel, jazz, reading, cooking and fine wines. A man of strong opinions, he was interested in a wide range of subjects. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. A memorial service will be held on Saturday November 1, at 12 Noon in the Terrace Room at Elliston Vineyards, 463 Kirkare Rd, Sunol. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Habitat for Humanity of the US Olympic Committee.
