JoAnn (Cansler) Attanasio, 79, of Southridge Drive, Greeneville, passed away Monday, June 22, 2015, at her home.
She retired from the county clerk's office in Rockland County, New York.
She was a member of the Fit Club, Republican Club, Kiwanis Club, Women's Birthday Club, and the Roby Center.
Survivors include a daughter: Terry Falco; son: Lou Attanasio; granddaughters: Gina Peifley, Corinne Falco, Nicole Stack; grandson: Michael Attanasio; great grandchildren: Anthony Peifley, Jasmine Falco, Brayden Duffy, Luke Stack; adopted daughter: "Mary Mitchell"; and siblings: Jim, Bob, Ron, Ralph, Steve, and John Cansler.
She was preceded in death by her husband, John Attanasio; brothers: Fred and Leroy Cansler; and a sister: Grace Willis.
The family will receive friends from 2pm-4pm and 6pm-8pm Wednesday at Kiser-Rose Hill Funeral Home.
Following visitation, the funeral service will be held at 8:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. David Fox officiating.
Interment will be at Frederick Loescher Veterans Memorial Cemetery in Spring Valley, New York.
Our thank you seems so small compared to all "Caris" had done for our mother, but it comes from our hearts. Dion, Janet, and Mark be blessed for the kindness shown to Mom.
