Leah Cannon Holley, 94, died November 4, 2012 in Provo, Utah. Born July 28, 1918 in Stone, Idaho to Lewis Ray Cannon and Jennie Luemma Laub. She married Harold Hanson Holley Dec. 31, 1937 in Ogden, Utah and the marriage was later solemnized in Salt Lake Temple. He died Dec. 15, 1989. Leah was active in the LDS Church and served with her husband in the Provo Temple as a Matron. She belonged to the American Fork Arlitra Club and the Thalian Club of Spanish Fork. She loved to quilt and was famous for her baby quilts and her raspberry jam. She was a loving mother & grandmother. Leah always loved people and loved serving them. She is survived by Jim (Marlene) Holley, Janet (Jon) Trotter, Anne (Paul) Michaelson, Steve (Debi) Holley, Mindy (Mark) Warner 23 grandchildren and 69 great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 7 sisters and 6 brothers.
Funeral services will be Saturday, November 10, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. in the Edgewood Ward, 3511 No. 180 East Provo, UT. Friends may call Friday 11/9/12 at the Anderson & Sons Mortuary 49 E. 100 N. in American Fork from 6 to 8 p.m. and prior to the services at the church on Saturday from 9:45 to 10:45 a.m. Burial in the American Fork Cemetery.
