Allene Cannon, who was the youngest of three children, was born on July 25, 1921 in Water Valley, Mississippi to the union of Samuel and Isola (nee Henderson) Morgan.
Allene was also raised in Hayti, Missouri where she met Roger L. Cannon. The couple was married on July 5, 1955 and moved to Cleveland shortly thereafter.
Allene confessed hope in Christ at an early age and after moving to Cleveland she attended New Jerusalem Missionary Baptist Church.
On Friday September 28, 2007, Allene departed this life. She is preceded in death by her parents; brothers Odie Morgan and Verda Morgan; as well as by Roger - her husband of 51 years.
Allene leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Rezonia Moore; two grandchildren, Rev. Larry (Suzette) Ware of Orlando, Florida and Dorothy Moore (Jeffery Sly) of Cleveland, Ohio; great-grandchildren Charity, Aeryea and Kristen Ware, all of Orlando, Florida, as well as Qatea, Tania, Tasia Moore, all of Cleveland, Ohio; great-great-grandchildren, Quiera Jenigan, Quishon Jenigan, Damion Burke, and Dartanius Burke; sisters-in-law Annie Horton of Cleveland, Ohio, Lucille and Fred Scott of East St. Louis, Illinois, and Mary F. Craddock of Los Angeles, California; brothers-in-law Clarence, Dave and Alfred Cannon all of Akron, Ohio and John Cannon of Starksville, Mississippi; special friends Joe (Jackie) Blythewood; and a host of nieces, nephews other loving relatives and friends.
