Mrs. Mary Brennan, 1223 Green St. died at 3 o'clock Saturday afternoon of old age. Mrs. Brennan was 75 years of age and had been suffering for the past five years. The decedent before her illness, which made it unable for her to get around, was a promanent figure in the Altar & Rosary Society of St. Mary's Church, of which she was a member. She was well known in this city, having resided here for 27 years, and her many friends will deeply regret her passing from this world to the one beyond. She came here from Shirland where the home had been made since the arrival to this country from Ireland, which was when the deceased was 12 years old.

Mrs. Brennan was born in Ireland 75 years ago. She leaves to mourn her death, husband John Brennan, an employee of the C.M. & St. Paul Railroad Co., and six children. Mrs. T. Danaher, Chicago, Mrs. Mary O'Connor, Bernard, Martin and William Brennan of Rockford, and John Brennan of Clinton, Illinois. There are 25 Grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.

The funeral services will be held from the home Tues. at 9 o'clock and 9:30 from St. Mary's Church with Father Whalen officiating. Interment will take place in the west side cemetery.
