Dorothy Fay Allred Cannon, 58, a school librarian and civic worker, died June 27, 1969 at her residence, 551-12th Ave., of natural causes.
Born Jan. 22, 1911 at Gannett, Idaho a daughter of Charles Henry and Cosette Brown Allred. Married Quayle Cannon Jr., April 10, 1936 at Washington, D. C. Marriage later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Attended Lincoln High School in Orem and graduated from Brigham Young University at Provo, where she was a member of Val Norn Social Unit. An active Republican Party worker, she belonged to the Women's Legislative Council, Utah Library Association and Utah Education Association. An active member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she held many Church positions.

Holabird, Md.; Patricia Fay Cannon, Rome, Italy; and Christine Cannon, Salt Lake City; three grandchildren; brothers and sisters, Merrill B. Allred, Crockett, Calif.; R. Bliss Allred, Provo; Mrs. J. K. (Cosette) Boyle, Los Angeles; Mrs. T. L. (Mary) Johnson, Birmingham, Ala.; and Mrs. Merle (Elaine) Prince, Davis, Calif.
