Born February 10, 1918 to Rocco and Josephine Bongiovanni in Cleveland Ohio, she was the youngest of three children. As a young woman she moved to California where she married and started her family. She is survived by her sister Mary, daughter Connie, sons James (Elaine), Ray (Paige), grandchildren Kelli, Anthony and Carly, nephew Jack, niece Jeannie, and dear friend and neighbor Jim Ramey.
In addition to being a homemaker, Bonnie had a 20-year career with Contra Costa Medical Services. Upon retiring, she volunteered as a literacy teacher where she found great joy in teaching others.
As a resident of Antioch, Bonnie loved the outdoors, and was an avid walker. She was often seen walking for miles with her best friend Jim. She enjoyed finding small treasures at garage sales, and loved negotiating a good deal. She was also widely known throughout the neighborhood for having the best tasting apricot and figs from her backyard trees.
Most of all Bonnie truly enjoyed her family and friends. She will be missed by all.
