A charter and faithful member of St. John's United Methodist Church, Mrs. Branham was active in the Wallace Sunday School Class, prepared communion and assisted with church meals for many years. She was a member of the Greenwood Woman's Club. Mrs. Branham was a homemaker who enjoyed playing bridge, gardening, travel, needlepoint and sewing. She is survived by her only child, Anna Branham James of Natchez. Other survivors include a sister, Kathryn Boggs of Memphis; two granddaughters, Allison James Hescock and her husband Dr. Jay Hescock and Callie James Daters and her husband Dr. Andrew Daters; four great-grandchildren, Anna and Sarah Hescock and James and Grace Daters all of New Orleans. Other dearly loved relatives in her life include a nephew, David C. Branham of Greenwood; nieces Betty Branham Pope of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Beverly Taliaferro of Drasco, Ark., Nancy McDougal of Holly Springs and Betty Boggs Saxon and Dorothy Bishop, both of Memphis; and special-in-law Nell Woolf of Natchez, along with cherished friends in Greenwood.

Visitation will be at the church from 12:30 p.m. until the time of service.

Pallbearers will be David C. Branham, Mark Kimmel, Dennis Barlow, Brister Barlow and Dennis Barlow Jr.

Wilson and Knight Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
