Funeral service for Dorothy J. McMann was Saturday, April 16, 1944 at 10:30A.M. at McDonald Funeral Home, Beloit, KS. with Pastor Rick Grace officiating.

Dorothy Jean McMann , the daughter of David and Maude Bennett Campbell, was born Dec. 20, 1918 at Delphos, KS. She died April 13, 1994, at St. Francis Hospital in Wichita, KS at the age of 75 years. Dorothy grew up and attended country school in the Delphos area. She was united in marriage with Glen Anderson in 1936, and one son and two daughters were born to that union. They lived in California before returning to Kansas in 1944. In 1948, Dorothy was married to Robert L. Beck, and one son and one daughter were born to that union, and the family made their home in Glasco. Robert died in 1983, and Dorothy was married to Delbert McMann of Beloit in 1985. Dorothy was a member of the Beloit First Christian Church, the Senior Citizens Organization, the Mitchell County Hospital Auxiliary, the V.F.W. Auxiliary and the Glasco Country Club. She was a homemaker and also worked at the Glasco school cafeteria and assisted her husband, Robert, in operating a cafe and liquor store. Her favorite pastimes were sewing, bowling, golf and reading.

Survivors include her husband, Delbert of the home in Beloit ; two sons, Glen "Andy" Anderson and wife, Peg, California City, CA., and Robert Dean Beck and wife, Joyce, Alexandria, MN.; a stepson, Charles Ray McMann and wife Cindy, Knob Noster, MO.; two daughters, Phyllis Jean Anderson, Henderson, NE.; and Barbara Ione Davidson and husband Homer, Plattsburg, MO.; a step-daughter, Doris Fox and husband Arnold, Beloit; a brother Paul Campbell and wife Mary, Palm Springs, CA.; nine sisters, Blanche Teasley, Glasco, Marjorie Martin and husband Jesse, Glasco, Ruth McCullough, Marquette, Maxine Harding, Enid OK., Marie Cooper and husband Gene, Salina, Gertrude Adkins and husband Gerald, Glasco, Betty Swaim and husband Michael, Concordia, Maudyna White and husband Fred, Chehalis, WA., and Virginia Yount and husband LeRoy, Rocky OK.; nine grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, eight step-grandchildren, fourteen step great-grandchildren, and a multitude of nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter, Carolyn Anderson; a daughter-in-law Lori Beth Beck; a step-daughter, Phyllis Jean Munsey; a brother David Campbell; and two sisters, Beulah Hubert and Helen Empson.

Music was provided by Irma Ethridge, organist, and LeRoy Yount, vocalist. Casket bearers were Scott Anderson, Bryan Davidson, Danny Fox, James Klein, Joe Klein and Ron Klein. Honorary Pallbearers were David Beck and Garrett Beck. Interment was in the Glasco Cemetery, Glasco, KS.
