Harry Vinton Campbell, 64, died at his home, 523 Liberty Street, at 3:30 pm Friday after an illness of a month. He had been confined to his bed for two weeks. He was born in Rockland Township May 6, 1866.
He worked at Chicago Pneumatic Tool Co., was a member of the Seventh Street Church of God, and the Venango Lodge of Odd Fellows. He was a blacksmith by trade, and had worked at several of the manufacturing plants in franklin. He was a home-loving man, devoted to his family, kind and obliging to all with whom he came into contact, and strictly faithful to any promise or duty.
About 40 years ago he married Suzanna Clever of Sandycreek Township, and she survives, with four sons, Earl of Barger, TX, Fred V. of Cleveland, OH, Robert of Franklin, and William, at home; a brother, William Campbell of Franklin; and three grandchildren.
Services will be at 3 pm Monday afternoon with Rev. F. O. Eakin, his pastor, officiating.
