Joseph Franklin Campbell

b. August 30, 1831 in Crook Twp, Hamilton Co., IL.
d. May 22, 1906 near Thurber, Crook Twp.
On April 14, 1850, in White Co., IL, he married Eliza E. M. Ray.

Residence McLeansboro IL;
Enlisted on 12/10/1861 as a Sergeant.
On 2/17/1862 he mustered into "G" Co. IL 60th Infantry
He was discharged for disability on 10/11/1862

This old soldier served as Sgt. in Co., G, 60th Reg., IL Volunteers in the Civil War.
He also served in Co., I, 58th Inf., IL VOL..
His brother, William Hume Campbell, was Captain of Co. G., 60th IL VOL
