Alan R. Campbell, age 71, of Morristown, passed away Wednesday, April 8, 2015. He was a member and deacon of Cherokee Heights Baptist Church, and was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather, and will be sadly missed.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Clay and Edith Campbell; brother, James Edward Campbell; and sister, Janet E. Campbell. He is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Geraldine Campbell; sons, Anthony B. Campbell, Robert A. (Sarah) Campbell, and John (Christina) Campbell; grandchildren, Abby, Madelynne, Cameron, Isabella, Parker, and Quentin; sister, Marjorie Neubert; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m., Sunday, April 12, at Cherokee Heights Baptist Church, with Rev. Ken Cole and Rev. Craig Neubert officiating. Interment, with military honors, will follow at Hamblen Memory Gardens. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Sunday, prior to the service at the church. Pallbearers will be Jimmy Campbell, Ronnie Campbell, Craig Neubert, Christopher Neubert, Joel Campbell, and Larry Burchett. Honorary pallbearers will be the members of his Sunday class. Arrangements by Westside Chapel Funeral Home, in Morristown.
