Mrs. Campbell was the wife of Charles C. Campbell, who predeceased her. She was a practical nurse by occupation. Mrs. Campbell was 60 years of age when she collapsed on a public sidewalk in Ithaca and died a few hours later at Memorial Hospital. Her only survivors were two nieces and a nephew: Mrs. Mary Cox and Mrs. Margaret Baker of Albion, NY and Walter Gay of Rochester, NY. Although her obituary stated she was to be buried in Pleasant Grove Cemetery, City Cemetery records indicate that she was interred in section K on 27 Oct 1950.
