Campbell, Claudia Varn Age 96 - Loving & Devoted Mother Grandmother, Great-Grandmother Aunt, Sister, & Friend Born on March 12th, 1908 in Greensboro, GA, died peacefully surrounded by her family on January 1, 2005 in St. Paul, MN after a brief illness. Preceded in death by her daughter, Diane Ahrens; her husband, Hugh Campbell; her siblings, Lucy Cross (Isaac), Irby Copelan (Ann), Julia McIntosh, Henry (Jack) Copelan (Sally); her parents Henry and Hattie Copelan; and her nephew, Isaac Cross Jr. Survived by her sister, Derryle Bagley (Mason); son-in-law, Raymond Ahrens; grandchildren, Claudia (Michael), Susanna, and Clay (Jana); great-grandchildren, Patience, Michael, Forrest and Olivia; and nieces and nephews, Lee White (Jane), Mary Francis Weil (Henry), Henry Copeland (Barbra), Louis Copeland (Carole), Jack Copelan (Mimi), George Copeland (Julie), Jennifer Pate Bagley, Fred Bagley (Jo); friends, Tabari Javid, Anne Lesko; and many others. Claudia lived much of her life in Silver Springs, MD before moving to St. Paul, MN to be closer to her family. She was employed by Western Union in Washington D.C. for over 25 years. Claudia enjoyed studying history and genealogy. She was a life long member of the Methodist Church. Memorial Service: Saturday, January 8th, 2005 at 4PM, CLEVELAND AVENUE UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 225 Cleveland Ave. South, St. Paul, MN. No flowers please.
