Edna Mae Campbell, age 83, of Ozark, passed away Saturday, April 11, 2009.
She was born September 8, 1925, in Branson, the daughter of Elza and Lulu Grace Mitchell. On January 9, 1946, she and Junior Campbell were united in marriage.
Mrs. Campbell was a cook for the Ozark School System for 21 years. She was also a homemaker. She was a loving mother and grandmother, and enjoyed working in her yard, and helping others. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Spokane.
Survivors include three sons, Elza Campbell and wife, Sandy, Ozark, Al Campbell, Lampe, and Dwayne Campbell and wife, Brenda, Willard; 43 grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two sisters, Opal Hughes, Springfield, and Mildred Forgey, Ozark; and two brothers, Albert Mitchell, Halltown, and Leon Mitchell, Ozark.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Junior, in 1998; a son, Doug Campbell; a grandson, Ross Campbell; a sister, Edith Evans; and her parents.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday, April 14, in Adams Funeral Home, Ozark, with Pastor James Mohler officiating. Burial will follow in Selmore Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, in the funeral home.
