WENATCHEE - Pearl H. Norton, 86, of Wenatchee and a former resident of Chelan, died Monday, Dec. 5, 1994, in Colonial Vista Convalescent Center following an extended illness.
She was born May 28, 1908, to George and Sophia (Gunderson) Campbell at Chippewa Falls, Wis., where she grew up and attended school, graduating from Notre Dame High School. She then attended business college, studying accounting.
She married Chester C. Norton on Oct. 11, 1928, at Chippewa Falls, where they made their home. They moved to Brewster in 1943, where Mrs. Norton worked seasonally in the packing sheds. They moved to Chelan in 1957.
Mrs. Norton was a member of St. Francis Catholic Church and a lifetime member of the Altar Society.
She is survived by two sons, Franklyn of Wenatchee and Chester Jr. of Chelan; three daughters, Rita Feller of Chelan, Margaret Ives of Brewster, and Jeralyn White of Council Grove, Kan.; a brother; eight sisters; 16 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1992, four brothers, two sisters, a daughter, three grandchildren and a great-grandchild.
Arrangements are by Precht Rose Chapel, Chelan.
