Eugene E Campbell, 86, a longtime resident of Chelan, died Wednesday, July 3, 1991, in Holy Family Medical Center in Spokane.

He was born Aug. 14, 1904, at Grantsdale, Mont., to Jack and Etta (Vance) Campbell. He attended school at Victor, Mont., then worked at various jobs. He married Violet Shepherd Nov. 2, 1935, at Thompson Falls, Mont. They made their home at Stevensville, Mont., until they moved to Chelan in 1940. Mr. Campbell retired in 1963 as an orchard manager for J K Gill.

Survivors include his wife, at home; a son, Glen E. Campbell fo Underwood, Wash.; a sister, Margaret Parks of Spokane; seven grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.
