Henry McDaniel "Sweetie" Camp - Son of Asbury Murrell Camp and Mary Elizabeth Haygood.

Brother of Harden Hull Sr, William "Hope" Sr, Mamie L, Emory Adicus, Birdie L and Bertrand Haygood Camp.

Sweetie married, 8 June 1910 in Milam Co., TX, Viva Swan Woody, a daughter of John Thomas Woody and Kate R LeTillier.

Father of Henry "LeTillier" Camp.

Grandson of Hope Hull Camp Sr & Jane Lindley and Hardin Haygood and Elizabeth Ann "Betsy" Locklin.
CAMP, Henry (Sweetie) of Thorndale. Age 86. Died 3/11/1970 (Wed.) in a Taylor hospital. Services held (Thursday) from the Condra Memorial Chapel. Burial in Locklin Cemetery. Rev. C.P. Hankins officiated.

Pallbearers were: Kenneth Caffey, Charles Camp, Jimmy Camp, Douglas Caffey, Joe Gilchrist and Emery Camp.

Honorary pallbearers were: Dow Caffey, Gus Dickerson, J B Towery, C.L. Tanner, Grove Partain, Joe Yeager, William Glascock, J.V. Applin and Evan Weaver.

He was BORN in Rome, GA. on 2/27/1884. He had been a resident of Thorndale for the past 50 years. Member of the Christian Church. A son, LeTillier Camp, preceded him in death in 1942.

SURVIVORS: Wife of Thorndale and granddaughter, Mrs. Fred Holman, Jr. of Taylor; sister, Mrs. J.M. Amason of Roswell, NM.; brother, B.H. Camp of Temple; 2 great-grandchildren.
