Services for Jewel Mae Camp, 82, of Palestine, will be held at 1 p.m. Monday in the Bailey and Foster Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Camp Cemetery with Carl D. DuBose and Lynwood Jacobs officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Bailey and Foster Funeral Home Palestine.

Mrs. Camp died Friday (June 13, 2008) at Mother Frances Hospital Tyler.

She was born Dec. 10, 1925 in Houston to William Newton and Lucinda Carr Walker. She was a member of the Old Pilgrim Church in Elkhart. Mrs. Camp was a wonderful, loving mother and wife.Mrs. Camp was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband, Henry M. Camp of Palestine; two daughters, Carolyn Ann Camp Wooddell and Kathy Camp Oswell, both of Palestine; four sons, Ronald M. Camp of Palestine, Wayne L. Camp of Calif., David R. Camp of Frankston and Randy L. Camp of Palestine; three sisters, Adelle Henderson of Spring, and Janita Johnson and Opal Fae Olivier, both of Houston; one brother, Glenn Walker of Austin; 14 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.Pallbearers will be Brandon Oswell, Patrick Wooddell, Brian Camp, Preston Wooddell, Richard Wooddell, Chad Camp, Scott Wooddell, Daniel Wooddell and Christopher Camp.Condolence calls will be received from 5 to 7 p.m. today at the Bailey and Foster Funeral Home Palestine.
