Jacqueline Cammack (Jackie) Alexander, 79, passed away Saturday, January 2, 2010. Visiting hours are today from 4 to 6 pm at Wright and Ferguson Funeral Home on High Street in Jackson. Visiting hours on Monday, January 4, 2010 will begin at 10:00 am at Raymond Presbyterian Church with the funeral service immediately following in the sanctuary at 11:00 am. Interment will be at Lakewood Memorial Cemetery on Clinton Boulevard.
She is predeceased by her husband A. R. (Ray) Alexander; one grandson, David Rayburn (Ray) Alexander, Jr.; and her parents Mr. and Mrs. E. E. Cammack.
She is survived by her three children: her son, David (Cile) Alexander and their children, Elizabeth (Sam) Rodgers, Susan and Julie; her daughter, Cati Alexander and her children Allison Brand, Catherine (Adam) Mason, and Arley (Jennifer) Brand; and daughter, Ann (George) Alexander Ferguson and their children Robert, Alec, and Jack; and one great-grandchild Collin Brand.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, 1640 Lelia Dr. Jackson, MS 39216 or CARA (Community Animal Rescue and Adoption) P.O. Box 231 Clinton, MS 39060.
