GEORGETOWN -- Marie Camlin died Monday, Jan. 12, 1998, at Memorial Mission Hospital in Asheville, N.C.
She was born in Monticello, Ark., a daughter of the late Dempsey and Louella Sawyer Polk.
She was the widow of John Camlin.
She retired in 1973 from the U.S. Postal Service in Georgetown after 28 years. She was a member of Screven Baptist Church and the Deborah Sunday school class.
She was also a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Winyah Chapter 148 of Georgetown.
Survivors include two brothers, Frank Polk of Black Mountain, N.C., and James Polk of Houston.
Visitation will be from 6-8 tonight at Graham Funeral Home of Georgetown.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Screven Baptist Church. Burial will be in Pennyroyal Memorial Gardens.
