Virginia Pooley Camden, 77, of Buena Vista, Va., died Friday, January 15, 2010. Born on May 4, 1932, in Rockbridge County, she was a daughter of the late Edna Pooley. In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her husband, David D. Camden Sr. Surviving are a son, David D. Camden Jr. and wife, Christy of Winston-Salem, N.C.; five daughters, Patricia Camden Beard and husband, Barry, Barbara Camden Clements and husband, Mike, all of Buena Vista, Gracie Camden Holstein and husband, Tylor, of Lexington, Kathy Camden Harvey, of Raleigh, N.C., and Wanda Pooley Watkins, of Natural Bridge; one brother, Winfred "Dickie" Armstrong and wife, Maxine, of Staunton; a half brother, Leon Pooley and wife, Brenda, of Buena Vista; 11 grandchildren, Tasha Humphries, Brooke Tomlin, Mikel Clements, Holly Clements, Logan Camden, Lauren Camden, Derrick Ogden, Jessica Holstein, Guy Holstein, Jeff Dorey and Teresa White; and 10 greatgrandchildren. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Monday, January 18, 2010, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Chapel with the Rev. David Bain officiating. Burial will follow in Green Hill Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. on Sunday, January 17, 2010, at Bolling, Grose & Lotts Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Buena Vista, Va.
