WARREN--Lelah J. Brown, 78, a resident of the Methodist Memorial Home, Warren, died at 5:09 p.m. Friday at the home after a long illness.
A longtime Warren resident, Mrs. Brown was born in Grant County. She had been a resident of the home since 1972. She was a member of the Warren Church of Christ.
Survivors include five sons, Floyd, Rt. 1, Warren; Dale, Warren; Don, Rt. 6, Huntington; Von, Rt. 1, Warren; and Keith, Rt. 2, Andews; three daughters, Mrs. Eldon (Mildred) Wall, Rt. 1, Warren; Mrs. Loy (Martha) Eppard, Rt. 3, Warren, and Betty Jean Brown, Knoxville, Tenn.; a half-sister, Mrs. Opal Camblin, Van Buren; 27 grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Methodist Memorial Home and at 2 p.m. at the Warren Church of Christ, Rev. Don Jennings officiating at both services. Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery, Van Buren.
Friends may call until 11 a.m. Monday at the Methodist Memorial Home and 12-2 p.m. Monday at the Warren Church of Christ.

Mrs. Lelah J. Brown, 78, died at 5:09 p.m. Friday at the Methodist Memorial Home in Warren after a long illness. She had been a resident of the home since June of 1972 and was a member of the Warren Church of Christ.
She was born July 3, 1896 in Grant County to Alva and Anna Moriarity Camblin and her marriage was on April 5, 1916 to Sherman N. Brown, who preceded her in death in 1965.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Eldon (Mildred) Wall, Warren, Mrs. Loy (Martha) Eppard, Warren, and Betty Jean Brown, Knoxville, Tenn.; and five sons, Floyd L. Brown, Warren, Dale V. Brown, Warren, Don D. Brown, Rt. 6, Von E. Brown, Warren and Keith A. Brown, Andrews; and a half sister, Opal Camblin, Van Buren; 27 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. A son and an infant daughter preceded her in death.
Friends may call until 11 a.m. Monday at the Methodist Memorial Home in Warren where services will be held at 11 a.m., and from noon to 2 p.m. at the Warren Church of Christ where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. with the Rev. Don Jennings officiating.
Burial will be in the Masonic Cemetery in Van Buren. The Butler Funeral Home is in charge of arrangement.
