Hilda M. (Camacho) Barrett, age 54, of Milford, Connecticut, passed away at home on Friday, September 11, 2009 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Born April 24, 1955 in Bridgeport, Connecticut, she was the daughter of Angel and Amelia Alverez Camacho of Bridgeport.
Hilda was a graduate of Jonathan Law H.S. Class of '73 and worked at the former Gloria's Market and Garden Center in Milford and more recently at Bridgeport Fitting Inc. of Stratford.
Besides her parents, she is survived by her three beloved children. Amber Uberti and her husband Joseph of Milford. Erin Barnes and her husband Robert of Bridgeton, ME, and Brandon Barrett of Milford. A sister Maria Ocasio and her husband Felix of Tampa, FL. A cherished granddaughter Ava Marie Uberti, also survived by several nieces, nephews and close friends.
Funeral from the Cody-White Funeral Home, 107 Broad Street on the Green, Milford on Monday, September 14, 2009 followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Gabriel Church, Milford.
Interment will follow in King's Highway Cemetery, Milford.
