Florence Gertrude [White] Calvert married Robert Owen Calvert, on Mar 6, 1904, in Houston County Texas. They had one known child; Robert Ezra Calvert born about 1906 in TX.

Robert and Florence were on the 1930 and 1940 Census in Houston City Houston Harris Co TX, I am pretty sure they died there and were removed to Antioch Cemetery in Houston Co TX, not to be confused with Houston in Harris Co TX.

She was the daughter of William H & Cornelia J [Iden] White of Houston Co TX. Both buried in the Antioch Cemetery in that county. Her father was a Civil War Veteran, served in the 4th Texas Infantry under General Lee in Virginia, this CSA unit had a 95 per cent success rate, and suffered massive losses as a result. General Lee commented that if he had 3 more Texas Divisions like the 4th, he could have won the war...

Florence was the grand daughter of Tilman Bailey Sr & Sarah Francis [Harwell] White of Walker Co TX, he had also lived in Houston Co TX.

Gertrude had 7 known siblings:
Sarah, Walter, Boca?, Lee, Arthur and John F White.
