Dorothy May Brown, age 82, of Portland, passed away on December 31, 2006, at her residence. She was born in Allen County, Ky., on January 28, 1924, to the late Selt and Maude Calvert. She is survived by her husband, Thomas Allen Brown of Portland; daughter, Janice (Ray) Sanders of Bethpage; son, Jasper (Peggy) Brown of Portland; 5 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; sister, Margie Shelton of Scottsville, Ky. Visitation will be 11 a.m., until 9 p.m., Tuesday, January 2, 2007. Funeral service will be 1 p.m., Wednesday, January 3, 2007, at Wilkinson & Wiseman Funeral Home. Interment will be at Roberts Tabernacle Church Cemetery.
