Marion L. Riley, 60, of Clark died Friday, Jan. 9, 1998, at Boone Hospital Center. Services will be 1 p.m. Monday, Jan. 12, at Meador and Son Funeral Chapel in Sturgeon with the Rev. Jeff Hutton officiating. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery near Higbee. Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 11, at the funeral home.
Mrs. Riley was born March 17, 1937, in Columbia to Ernest and Lena Campbell Calvert.
She married Phillip Riley on March 30, 1952, in Clark, and he survives.
She was a member of Clark Baptist Church.
Survivors also include a son, Mitchell Riley of Columbia; three daughters, Juanita Sparks of Columbia, Elnora Brocksmith of Moberly and Lois Brotherton Rawlings of Ashland; a brother, Earl Calvert of Columbia; 11 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by four brothers and a sister.
