Lula Vivian (Witt) Baker was born Dec. 10, 1916 in rural Mayes county and died friday April 2nd, 2004 in Chouteau, OK. She was the daughter of Eri Dawson Callison and Gertie Mae (Conner) Callison. She grew up in rural Mayes county and attended Cole school. She married Owen Baker soon after finishing school. She was a homemaker and enjoyed working in her flowerbeds. Roses and Tulips were her favorite flowers to grow. She enjoyed going to flea markets with her husband and cooking large family meals. She attended First Church of God in Pryor for many years.
Survivors include one son, Bill Baker and wife Sonja, Tulsa; two daughters, Barbara Thompson and husband Don, Tulsa; Margaret Berry and husband Gary, Pryor; three sisters, Alma Wells, Wagoner, Margie Flournoy, Tulsa, Louise Sisk and husband K.D., Houston Tx; nine grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband Owen Baker in 1985, granddaughter Kimberly Dawn Berry in 1986, six brothers, and her parents.
