Our beloved wife, mother, and grandmother, Delfina Calles Borrego, passed away October 15, 2011, peacefully at her home. She was surrounded by her loving husband of 62 years, Placido Borrego; their children Jim and wife Helen, Linda and husband Wayne, Rick and wife Barbara, Bob and wife Debbie, Renee and husband Corky, and Karmella and husband Pat; and grandchildren Jaymee and husband Kirk, Dustin, Mandee, Aaron, Amanda, Andrew, Danny, Bobby, Shania, Kristy, Kelly, Kamille, Miriah, Rico ,and Cisco. Also with her was her brother Guillermo Calles and sister Gloria and husband Leo Kahn and Leroy Kahn.
Delfina was born in Santa Rita NM on April 6, 1925, moved to Santa Fe NM, and graduated from Santa Fe High School.
Delfina was preceded in death by her parents Ramona and Simon Calles, sister Consuelo, brother Estevan, and sister-in-law Toni.
