CANTON -- Hazel F. Burrows, 86, of 129 S. First Ave. died at 1:20 a.m. Sunday, March 30, 1997, at Graham Hospital.
Born Sept. 12, 1910, in Marietta to Charlie and Belle Abshire Calhoun, she married Mose F. Burrows on June 1, 1927, in Keokuk, Iowa. He died June 25, 1961. She also was preceded in death by one granddaughter; one son, Charles Burrows; and one sister.
Surviving are two daughters, Betty Eggers of Peoria and Norma Deakin of Galesburg; four grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and one sister, Dorothy Graham of Canton. She was a practical nurse at Graham Hospital for 35 years.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home, where visitation will be one hour before services. The Rev.
Jim Jenkins will officiate. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens.
