Belva Ilene Caldwell, 77, of Idaho Falls, died Dec. 1, 2004, at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center of natural causes.
She was born July 21, 1927, in Idaho Falls to William and Edna (Holverson) Henrie. She grew up and attended schools in Idaho Falls.
She married Glen Caldwell in July 1947 in Idaho Falls. She lived most of her life in Idaho Falls. She managed the coffee shop at the Bowl-Ero, and was a cook at the Stock Yards Cafe. She was most well-known for her cooking and she enjoyed playing cards. Belva's greatest joy was her children and their children; her favorite time of year was Christmas Eve, when all her family gathered in her home.
Survivors include her children, Kay Zopff, Wade (Linda) Caldwell, and David (Debbie) Caldwell, all of Idaho Falls, Ted (Jeanette) Caldwell of Pocatello, and Vada (Darrel) Alkin of Tacoma, Wash.; 12 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
A memorial gathering will be held in her honor from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 4, at the Eagle's Lodge at 635 Hemmert Drive in Idaho Falls.
