Services for Lucille Caldwell Beaty, 90, Barwick, are at 11 a.m., Monday, Jan. 13, 2003 at Barwick Baptist Church. The Rev. Philip Hudson will officiate and interment is in Rosewood Cemetery.

Mrs. Beaty died Friday, Jan. 10 from injuries sustained in an auto accident. Born in Paducah, Ky., she was a daughter of Rex Caldwell Sr. and Beulah Taylor Caldwell. She was a homemaker, a lover of nature and animals and a member of Barwick Baptist Church.

She is survived by two daughters, Sandra (Clyde) Isom of Moultrie, Modene (Gene) Butler of Pavo; a son, Winston Beaty of Barwick; beloved dog Sugar; four grandchildren, Marcy (Warren) Williford, Brandie (Paul) Mayo, Devonie Hiers (Tom) McCabe, Lt. Dustin R. (Kara) Hiers; four great-grandchildren; a sister, Beulah Norman of Lexington, Ky.; and a brother, Rex A. Caldwell Jr. of Barwick.

She was preceded in death by three sisters, Laurine Jones Stanfield, Kathleen Manley, Lenora Caldwell Jackson; three brothers, Ret. Lt. Col. Charles E. Caldwell, Allen Taylor Caldwell, Horace Rhea Caldwell; and stepmother, Rosalie Baker Caldwell.
