Obit: Beulah Jean Caldwell, 73, 700 St.
Mary's Ave., Frankfort, died at 4 p.m.
yesterday (April 24, 1980) in Clinton
County Hospital after a sudden illness.
A retired teacher, she taught third grade
at Riley Elementary School, Frankfort, for
35 years. She also taught in Boyleston.
She was a member of St. Matthew United
Methodist Church and was active in church
She earned her B.S. degree from Butler
University and was awarded a master's degree
by Ball State University. She was a member
of the Retired Teachers Organization.
A.A.U.W. and Psi Iota Xi sorority.
Miss Caldwell was born September 27, 1906 in
Kempton to Thomas Ray and Bessie Scott Caldwell.
She lived almost all her life in Clinton County.
Survivors include two sisters, Helen Shoup
of Michigantown and Mary Ostler of Frankfort;
two brothers, Herbert Caldwell and Dick Caldwell,
both of Frankfort.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at the
Goodwin Funeral Home with the Rev. Ray Brown
officiating. Burial will be in Green Lawn
