Funeral services for Jackie Dale "JD" Caldwell, 43 will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the Harvey-Douglas Chapel with Reverends J.D. Leaville and Brandon Burris officiating. Interment will be at Leon Cemetery.
Born April 17, 1961, to Jackie Ray Caldwell and Lucy Elizabeth Bates Edwards in Andrews, Texas, he died March 10, 2005, in Ardmore.
He was preceded in death by his father and one sister Rebecca Rene Caldwell.
A resident of Ardmore for most of his life, J.D. worked as a construction worker and was a Baptist.
He is survived by two daughters, Jacky Elizabeth Lantrip and her husband Joseph, Jessica Diane Thompson and her husband Daniel; one son David Jack Caldwell all of Ardmore; two brothers, Bradley Garrett Caldwell and his wife Nadine, Terrell, Texas; Freddy Wells and his wife Melissa, Mounds; his mother, Elizabeth Edwards, Mannsville; his former wife Elizabeth Collins, Ardmore; paternal grandfather, J.J. Caldwell, Marietta; five grandchildren, Jeremiah Kole Lantrip, Jacey Lynn Lantrip, Aurora Chaylynn Caldwell, Daniel Braden Thompson, Danielle Brayleigh Thompson and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
Bearers will be Gary Collins, Jerry Collins, David Caldwell, Dan Carter, Billy Joe Webb and Cody Wilson.
Honorary bearers will be Joseph Lantrip, Jeremiah Lantrip, Daniel Thompson an Braden Thompson.
