Bessie Scott Caldwell, 85, Frankfort rt. 3, died at 6:30 p.m. yesterday, (October 11, 1973), at Clinton County Hospital. She had been in failing health for several years.
She was born February 1, 1888, near Scircleville, the daughter of Leonard and Rachel Storms Scott. She was married to Ray Caldwell January 6, 1906, and he died March 5, 1955.
Mrs. Caldwell lived in Clinton County all her life. She was a member of Scircleville Baptist Church, K.C. Club, and a charter member of Boyleston Home Extension Club.
Survivors include two sons, Dick and Herbert, both of Frankfort; three daughters, Mrs. Stewart Shoup of Michigantown, Mrs. Lemoine Ostler of Frankfort and Beulah Caldwell of Frankfort rt. 3; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. Garry Forbes officiating. Burail will be in Green Lawm Memorial Park.
