Deceased Name: ROSANNA 'BABE' CAFFARELLI

Rosanna "Babe" Caffarelli, 81, of Tyrone, formerly of Ironsville, died Thursday, Dec. 25, 1997, at the home of her daughter, Joanne Grimm of Tyrone.
She was born Feb. 15, 1916, at Mill Hall, a daughter of Anthony and Josephine (Tuccio) Pagano. On Feb. 2, 1935, at St. Catherine's Catholic Church in Mount Union, she married Charles Caffarelli, who survives at Epworth Manor, Tyrone.
She was a member of St. Matthews Catholic Church, Tyrone, and the Catholic Daughters of America, Court St. Rita.
In addition to her husband and daughter, she is survived by two other daughters, Evelyn M. Headings of State College and Rosanna Lower of Lancaster; two sons, Charles of Manilus, N.Y., and James of Altoona; a brother, Samuel Pagano of Nesquehoning; nine grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Mass of Christian burial will be at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at St. Matthews Catholic Church with the Rev. Norman Imgrund, celebrant. Burial will follow in Oak Grove Cemetery. There will be no public visitation.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Matthews Restoration Fund, 406 W. 11th St., Tyrone, Pa. 16686.
