Committal services were conducted in Oakwood Cemetery yesterday afternoon for Mrs. Jennie Louise Boyd Cady, widow of Judge William G. Cady, who died Sunday in St. Petersburg, Fla. Services were conducted at 2 pm by the Rev. Franklin P. Bennett, rector of St. Paul's Episcopal Church.
Mrs. Cady was active in church and social affairs in Syracuse for many years. She had formerly made her home with a son, R. Boyd Cady of 729 West Onondaga Street, but in recent years had passed winters in Florida and summers at the Thousand Islands.
Judge Cady took his place on the bench when Municipal Court was created in 1893. He served there until 1915, when he became county judge. He died two years later.
