Catherine attended schools in Bayfield. She moved to Milwaukee where she married Gary Cadotte on March 6, 1980. The couple moved back to Bayfield in the early 1990's and to Red Cliff in 2002. Catherine enjoyed going to the Casino and playing Bingo.
She is survived by her three daughters, Debbie (Mary Nemec) Keel of Nashville, TN, Judy (Daniel Jr.) Gitlewski of Oak Creek and Sandy (John) Jensen of Wauwatosa; four grandchildren, Mark (Brittney) Gitlewski, Daniel Gitlewski III, Michelle (Thomas) Falkowski and Bryan (Bethanie) Gitlewski; six great-grandchildren, Alexander, Caden, Landen, Micah, Tatum and Willow; a brother, Dennis Cadotte of Superior; special friend, Josh Gordon of Red Cliff; and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Gary; a son, Garret Keel; and seven brothers, Robert, Melvin, Thomas, Walter, Richard, Paul and Kenneth.
A funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 7, 2011 at the Red Cliff Elderly Center with Fr. Aaron Kalmon officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the Elderly Center on Thursday.
Inurnment will be held in the Calvary Cemetery in Bayfield at a later date.
Catherine's family would like to thank Jeane Gordon and Randy Jelinek for all their help and kindness which they have given Catherine over the years.
