Albert Cadena, 29, passed away Monday, May 26, 2008. Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday at The Mission at the corner of North 3rd and Mockingbird, with Pastor Chad Mitchell officiating. Burial will follow in Elmwood Memorial Park, directed by Abilene Funeral Home.

Mr. Cadena was born on April 30, 1979, in El Paso to Carlos and Lidia Cadena. He had been a resident of Abilene since 2001.

Survivors include his wife, Maria Cadena of Abilene; two sons, Domanik Damien Cadena of Abilene and Albert Vincent Cadena of California; two daughters, Celina Marie Martinez of Abilene and Destiny Marie Cadena of California; his parents, Carlos and Lidia Cadena of Abilene; three brothers, Carlos Cadena, Jr. of El Paso, Adrian Cadena and Alex Cadena, both of Abilene; a sister, Melissa Cadena Rodriguez and husband Victor of Abilene; and his grandparents, Justina Cadena and Matilde Ramirez.

A visitation will be held from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. Thursday at Abilene Funeral Home, 3349 N. 12th Street.
