Annie Mae Anderson, 81, died Friday, May 11, 2007.

Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, May 18th, at the Community Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 1443 N. 2nd St., with burial following in Elmwood Memorial Park, 5750 Hwy 277 So. Bishop Mack Moye will officiate.

Mrs. Anderson was born on April 14, 1926 in Newton County to the late John and Callie Cade. She married Samuel Anderson on April 17, 1959 in Abilene, TX. She was a member of Emmanuel Community Church, where she served as the church mother under the leadership of Bishop Mack Moye.

She was preceded in death by both parents; siblings, Arleza Morris, Ruthie B. Cade, Mahalia Cade, Joe Cade; and her husband.

Survivors include a son, James Anderson (Flora) of Abilene; a daughter, Deborah Malveaux of Denver, CO; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren; three nieces and four nephews; and many other relatives and friends; and caretakers, Priscilla Green and Barbara Fisher.

Visitation hours will be Thursday, May 17th, 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
