Beulah Jean Cable, 88, of Herrick, died at 10:05 a.m. on Sunday, June 10, 2012, at Shelbyville Manor Nursing Home in Shelbyville.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday at Christ Tabernacle Church in Herrick, with the Revs. Thomas W. Suey and Jeremy Suey officiating. Burial will be in Myers Cemetery in Herrick Township, Shelby County. Visitation will be held from 9 a.m. until time of services at the church. Kennedy and Sons Funeral Home in Pana was in charge of arrangements. Memorials: Mid-America Preparatory School in Herrick. Online condolences may be shared at www.kennedypana.com.

Mrs. Cable was born on Friday, Sept. 14, 1923, in Bowling Green Township, Fayette County, the daughter of Jesse and Gussie Biggs Clark. She married Ralph Oral Bieber about 1942; he was killed in action during World War II on Dec. 24, 1944. She married Stanley Cable on Feb. 7, 1946; he died on Sept. 22, 2004.

She is survived by sons, Gary Cable and his wife Sharon of Herrick, and Mark Cable and his wife Crystal of Shelbyville.
