W. H. CRUM DIES AT HOME.--Wilbur H. "Pop" Crum, 61, retired foreman of the city division of the Decatur postoffice, died early last night in his home at 1655 North College street. He had been ill about two weeks, but death was unexpected. Mr. Crum began work at the post office July 1, 1907 and retired last July after 41 years of service. He was born in Harristown township July 18, 1887, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Frank Crum and was married to Josie Botrell in Decatur, Nov. 26, 1907. He leaves his wife, one son, Carlton of Decatur; four daughters, Mrs. Virginia Dugud of Kansas City, MO., Mrs. Frank Martin, Decatur, Mrs. J. F. Facer, Portland, Ore., and Ruth Crum of Chicago and seven grandchildren. The body is at the Brintlinger funeral home where friends may call. Funeral services will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home chapel with burial in Harristown cemetery.
