Obituary.

Mrs. Ruth Alice Coggins, whose maiden name was Miss Ruth Alice Christian, was born in Sumner County, Kansas, June 2nd 1886, and departed this life at 12:05 a. m., Friday, March 19th, 1915, in Woodward, Oklahoma.

She lost her mother at the age of eight years, but was blessed with the motherly care of an elder sister. In September, 1907, she was married to Mr. Lowell T. Coggins, of Ashton, Kansas, and the young couple began life in Parkman, Okla. In less than a year they returned to Kansas, where they lived till a year ago, which they moved to Kibby, Okla. Four months ago Mrs. Coggins health, which had been failing for a long time, became so bad that she was confined to her bed. The middle of February she was brought to Woodward, where she could receive better care. But all was of no avail, and she passed away last Thursday night. Besides her husband and two little boys, she leaves to mourn her loss her father, Mr. Moses Christian, of Woodward; three brothers, William Christian of Toledo, Ill., and Thomas and Jesse of Kibby, Oklahoma; four sisters, Mrs. Etta Miller, Mrs. Della Wolf, of Woodward; Mrs. Henry Smith and Mrs. Florence Lowman of Parkman, Okla.
