DRAGERTON, Carbon County- Oscar Richard Castleman Sr., 88, died Thursday afternoon in a Dragerton hospital after a long illness. Born Feb. 14, 1890 in Rolla, Mo. Married Mary Luella Bechtel in St. Louis, Mo., Dec. 2, 1944. Member of United Mine Workers Assn., Horse Canyon Local 8003.

Survivors; widow, sons and daughters, Mrs. Herman (Hazel) Dessent, Chicago; Mrs. Alfred (Margie) Leoni, Las Vegas, Nev.,; Mrs. Frank (Juanita) Minerich, Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Maurice (Christina) Anderson, Latuda, Carbon County; Penny, Jack and Jim, Dragerton; Floyd, Ernest of Virden, Ill.; Richard, Auburn, Ill.; Claude and James, Springfield, Ill.; Oscar Richard Jr., with the U.S. Navy, Norfolk, Va.; 25 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren. Funeral Monday 11 a.m. in Community Church at Dragerton. Burial in Price City Cemetery.
