Miss. Georgia Hilda Byrum 89, a resident of the Brian Center died Saturday April 9, 2011.
She was born in Bertie County on December 9, 1921 to the late George W. and Emma Evans Bryum. Miss Byrum was a processor with Perry-Wynne Fish Company and member of Bethany Baptist Church.
Graveside funeral services will be held on Tuesday April 12, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Hillcrest Cemetery, Colerain by the Rev. Tommy Tripp.
Survivors include a brother, Elmer Byrum and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 7-8:30 PM Monday, April 11, 2011 at Walker Funeral Home, Windsor and at other times from the home of Elmer Byrum, 315 Perrytown Road, Colerain, NC. Memorial gifts may be made to the Bethany Baptist Church Building Fund, 740 Bethany Church Road, Colerain, NC 27924.
